Endeavors

Being an artist and a scholar leads to doing many other things.

Archivist

Since 2017 I've been volunteering as archivist for Maxwell Melvins

In 2017 I produced a panel discussion about music and art made in prison.

I found audio recordings of Harlem on The Mind of Its People

During my time as manager of the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, I found hidden in storage the audio recordings of five panel discussion events that took place in the auditorium during the Harlem On My Mind exhibition. I was able to get them digitized and made accessible on the museum's library.

Engineering/Design

When researching the reason that there's lines between the images on a reel of photo film, I wondered why belts can't sit outside the belt loops on pants. The loops on the pants continually interrupt the patterns that are on the belt.

Belt Looper

A redesign of the traditional leather belt

Fringe on the belt's outer surface.
